Smooth hydrangeas are native to North America. This cultivated variety, developed in 1997, has larger leaves and
flowerheads.
Identification: These shrubs are 3-5′ (91-152 cm) high. Leaves
are elliptical, serrated, 3-8″ (7.6-20 cm) long, and dark green. Dome-shaped corymbs 6-10″ (15-25 cm)
around contain both sterile and
